Story and ritual are powerful tools for promoting cross-cultural
tolerance, mental health, and peaceful coexistence—and for teaching character
curriculum, now required in many school systems. The Mythic Imagination Institute
will launch a dialogue that will have far-reaching impact, connecting the work
of scholars and artists, including those with diverse and even conflicting
views, with wider audiences hungry for meaning.
The strengths of the Mythic Imagination Institute are business
acumen and marketing savvy, and, to a degree, scale, and audacity. Our work
is not in creating the material, content, scholarship, or curriculum, but in
connecting it to new audiences.
Working with our board of advisors and board of directors,
we will use our skills as business professionals, managers, fundraisers, creative
marketing and communications professionals, technologists, experience designers,
and event planners to reach beyond the few to connect with the larger public.
