Meade Palidofsky is founder and Artistic Director of Chicago's Music Theatre Workshop. Ms. Palidofsky is an award
winning playwright, lyricist and director whose work, particularly with incarcerated teens, has been recognized nationally on NPR's
This American Life and Humankind, and was also featured in a documentary on violence prevention programs,
Sticks And Stones. Her philosophy and work at Warrenville IYC, the maximum security prison for young women in Illinois,
is also the subject of a new documentary by California film maker Heather Ross of PB&J Productions. It is scheduled for release
in the fall of 2006.
