In addition to hearing, seeing and experiencing, at Mythic Journeys, you’ll do. Our workshops will give you a chance to learn from writers, poets, educators, performers, psychologists, artists, and more.

You’ll have a chance to improve your writing with teachers like Cathleen Rountree, author of The Writer’s Mentor, and Chris Vogler, author of The Writer’s Journey: Mythic Structure for Writers and one of Hollywood’s leading screenwriting teachers - as well as some of our novelist and poet guests.

You’ll also have the opportunity learn how to apply myth and the hero’s journey in work and business from Scott Livengood, CEO of Krispy Kreme, or how to use mythic images in art from Charles Vess, Brian and Wendy Froud, and Alan Lee. We’ll also have workshops on puppetry, performance, education, storytelling, mask making, and more.

We expect our workshops to fill up fast, but people who register for Mythic Journeys early will have the first opportunity to sign up. Workshops are an integral part of our focused response tracks.
