Mark Levon Byrne, Ph. D. has a PhD in Religious Studies from Sydney University. He is the author of Myths of Manhood: The Hero in Jungian Literature, and The Essence of Zen, and the website www.mythoz.net. He works for two welfare agencies in Sydney, Australia, coordinating group work programs for men. He also teaches adult education courses in mythology and Jungian psychology; has a private practice as a Jungian psychotherapist; and leads educational tours to Cambodia. His specialty is modern Australian mythology.
