Cold Dawn Morning Light by Brian Morrison

In the somber moment, as the
Light of morning finds its way into
The shadows of dawn.
Curled and quite in the world of tangible
Realities I slip past the screen, into the
Growing silence of my mind.
Clear solace brings visions where paths
Follow their own course. I follow
Each wave of vision to the images
Of uninhibited moments. To the point
Where all things must pass. All becomes
One, unfolding a course where spirit
Settles into sight.
The beauty of found awareness pervades
As light stretches its fingers into the
Folds, corners longing for light.
As life itself feeds off the day's first
Light, my spirit nurtured in the womb of
Tranquil silence feeds, grows, to walk in me,
Spreading to touch all around me.

Brian Morrison is a contemporary modern artist, a poet, and a writer. "The only thing that separates me from you is the thin line called form. Yin and Yang: what does this mean? More than my good side versus. evil, more than my masculine versus feminine, Yin and Yang means understanding the balance between the consciousness of form and not. It is quite easy for us all to see the consciousness of form, and look to understand only this aspect of life in a reality, which is visually acknowledged as proof. It is far harder to accept that which is an abstract view seen only through consciousness without participation of the form — what we call ourselves. It is this lack of balance which has caused humanity to feel as though we are independent of all outside ourselves. In this lack of understanding, lack of balance we end up in constant turmoil and conflict. If and when we evolve to see that, indeed, the only separation between you and me is the thin line of form, and the balance of creation is that we are all one, on that day, the door of life for mankind will open."
